If script writers were given Kerri’s life history to fit into their TV series, they would reject it, saying she is lovable but it is not realistic to pack that much into one person : farmer’s daughter, legal secretary, country pub owner , midlife university graduate, senior government accountant, CPA, sports club operator, equestrian, equine bowen therapist, horse racer ….. you can see their point, but then you have to fit in six children ?!
We definitely threw a couple of sixes to get her on board, our financial systems have been rationalised and polished, and we can start looking at projects that were in the too hard basket for too long.
If you are looking for Kerri out of hours, try the racetrack at about 5.00 am, she is the lady at the horse stalls with the shovel, or have a look in the Bremer River for a canoe that is not travelling too straight, or possibly in a chicken pen, trying to catch a carpet snake to put in a roof where there is a pigeon problem. Did I say we were lucky ?
