Penny studied structural engineering, and has an impressive background in design of major steel structures and buildings. Since joining KAE she has been responsible for our structural design, already have come up with innovative and economical solutions in reinforced concrete design. She does however have an equal interest in house design. She studied the diploma in building designs and loves to spend her Saturdays examining show homes. She is hands on, spending a lot of time on site, inspecting her work, and discussing with the builders how it can be improved or modified to better suit the way that they normally work. Apparently Penny was grumpy once, for about an hour in 1994, but she overcame that terrible experience, and has been smiling ever since. A great asset to office happiness.
